I had an excellent experience at The Bedford Dental clinic, Dr Joubert is highly skilled and professional and made me feel comfortable through my procedure. What I thought would ne stressful was handled with great care and expertise. The clinic is modern, pristine and well- organised with staff that are friendly and attentive. Dr Joubert took his time to explain clearly and ensure I was comfortable before, during and after the procedure.

I don’t think you could find someone more terrified of needles and the dentist than me… and I say that with the full authority of someone who has practically turned dental avoidance into an extreme sport.

Between braces, 16 extra teeth removed (yes, sixteen 😳), traumatic cleanings, and a root canal experience that felt like a personal vendetta, I had officially written dentists off for life. If there were an Olympic event for dodging dental appointments, I’d have a gold medal.

And then I found Bedfordview Dental Studio.
Honestly, calling my past experiences “bad” feels generous because it wasn’t until I walked into this place that I realised what dental care is supposed to feel like. From the moment I arrived, every single staff member greeted me with genuine warmth. Not the polite, robotic kind, but the kind where they actually see you as a human being (a very nervous one, in my case).

They didn’t rush me, didn’t dismiss my anxiety, and didn’t treat me like just another appointment to tick off. Instead, they planned for it. My dentist even booked extra time specifically to accommodate my panic and nerves… which, frankly, felt revolutionary.

Now here’s the part I still can’t quite believe: after years of avoiding the dentist, I needed a lot of work. I was in that chair for 3 hours… and felt a maximum of about 4 seconds of pain. Four. Seconds. I’ve had papercuts that lasted longer.

The level of precision, the technology, the expertise… everything was on another level. Even the cleaning (which I usually dread more than anything) was done so gently and thoroughly that I almost forgot my lifelong fear halfway through.

And the space itself? Calm, modern, and somehow manages to feel more like a welcoming studio than a clinical setting.
For the first time in my life, I walked out of a dental appointment thinking: “That wasn’t awful.”
Actually… scratch that. I walked out thinking: “I can’t wait to come back.”

Yes, they’re more expensive than most but this is one of those rare cases where you truly get what you pay for. I would happily rearrange my entire budget to come here rather than risk going anywhere else.

Dr Jakes Joubert & his staff are highly professional.  They all make you feel welcome. State of the art practice with the latest technology.

After 20+ years of visiting various dentists, prostodontists, periodontists, etc for my husband's implants and bite, Dr Joubert finally gave him a solution and he was able to get his teeth within 24 hours.

The Dental Lab technician Pierre must too be complimented on his professional workmanship.  The colour of the teeth and fit is perfect.

I had a bridge done, which was also done in one day. Thanks to 3D printing and the advanced technology Dr Joubert is able to offer.

There is also an Oral Hygienist on site.

I can highly recommend Bedfordview Dental Studio.
